Funding disclosure is essential to ensure transparency and to allow readers to assess any potential influence of funding on the research process or outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>All funding sources that supported the study\u2014whether direct or indirect\u2014must be disclosed. This includes, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>research grants from public or private funding bodies;<\/li>\n<li>institutional or departmental support;<\/li>\n<li>funding from commercial organizations, foundations, or non-governmental entities;<\/li>\n<li>in-kind support, such as provision of equipment, materials, data, or services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Funding information must be reported using the <strong>official names of funding organizations<\/strong>, as listed in the Crossref Funding Registry, and should include <strong>grant or project numbers<\/strong> where applicable.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Disclosure of No Funding<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If the research received <strong>no external funding<\/strong>, authors must explicitly state this in the manuscript to ensure clarity and transparency.<\/p>\n<p><em>Example:<\/em><br \/>\n\u201cThis research received no external funding.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Relationship to Other Declarations<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Funding disclosure must be consistent with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the <strong>Role of Funders<\/strong> statement;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Conflicts of Interest<\/strong> disclosure; and<\/li>\n<li>any acknowledgments of institutional or infrastructural support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any discrepancies between these sections may require clarification before editorial acceptance.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Editorial Review<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The editorial office may request clarification or additional information regarding funding disclosures where necessary.
